30 Second Spray Paint Video - Kegerator Dude
My head has been a little overwhelmed lately. I'm trying to balance a handful of idea's and make them a reality. When my brain fills up I need to take two steps back and create. Today I made this short video to help me get back to my focussed 'getter done' state!!! Soon I hope to be back in my painting studio... This is where I love to create freely!!!

Less Smiles but Great Captures!
These are a few of my favorite photographs that came out of last weeks senior portrait photo session! Some of my fav's are the photographs where my subject is not smiling... I'm not sure why? Maybe it's because I can find the truest image of my subjects in between the shots that I set them up for... These are some of the tweener's:) and in the end.... They're keepers!!!!

My #1 Rule - Have fun!!!
Earlier this week I had the most awesome time working with one of our local seniors in high school! In this day in age senior portraits can be some of the most fun photo shoots for photographers who like photographing people. The teens want to be captured as their true selves! They're real, honest, positive and beautiful people. These are all my opinions but I will stand by them and cherish the time spent with them during our photo sessions.
The one rule that I throw out during set up is... We both must have fun!
For some reason I think this photograph says just that... FUN!!!
My post edit process might be a little more extreme than I usually go...
I'm not sure if this is final but for this blog post purpose, I really dig it!
Please let me know your thoughts... If you'd like.

Art in the Bar IV - fun with good support!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come down to our 10 hour show, even if it were just 20 minutes of your day! Finished work is completely different than what you see on the computer screen. I get emails, comments and messages all the time saying how much people love my work. Next time I announce a show I'd love to see more of those faces who take the time to comment:) We need more art shows in Boise! Complete with quality, unique and original art work! We have a lot of amazingly talented artists with tons of education and experience who just aren't shown for various reasons...
Art is life! Support, it's how the world turns!
Welcome to my pad! Next show I hope to have more big, new art works:)
Ellen Deangelis (on right) of Dead Bird Gallery, personal inspiration, artist and
amazing host of Art in the Bar taking her friends on the art tour!
My biggest supporter of my work and most importantly, life!
Smiling and laughing, that's what we do best!
SACS support team. I appreciate everything you three do!
Ink Vision - Erik Payne, tattoo artist finishing a full body tattoo!
It was hard to be set up next to this because every time I hear a tattoo machine start up...
I WANT MORE, MORE, MORE INK!!!!
Great buddy of mine came in to see SACS finished work!
Thank you girl, means more to me that you were there than you know!
Family support too! I love you all! Thanks for the packing and hauling help!!!
Had to feed my team. Getting ready for tear down!!!

Wolf Projects - Graphic Design
Here's one of my latest graphic design projects. My clients are amazing and I'm so thankful they came to me for help. I created two different designs that they will be placing on t-shirts, posters, stickers and pretty much everything that they can to bring awareness. Regardless of where a person stands on the topic of the reintroduction of wolves, one has to admit they are a beautiful animal... They scare the crap out of me because they're HUGE and their calls are eery and strange but that fact of the matter is they're here now. So it's time for all beings to acclimate! I had a blast creating these two designs! Take a look!
If you would like, I'll create you something original just for you!!!

Kokanee Spawning Season
Imagine being one of the first explorers to come across our beautiful state of Idaho. Particularly in September around lakes and streams... The water turns RED! These are Kokanee, a stem of Sockeye Salmon who live in fresh water and this is their spawning season.
I took a little trip with my Mom and Dad from their cabin in Pine to Fall Creek. The Kokanee do their very best to jump up the man-made culvert to continue their life cycle... It's pretty much impossible to get any further than this, like 99.999999%... This is truly the end for most of these fish after this part of the season and it's very natural but sad to see the weak. On the other hand it's extremely entertaining to watch the strong lunge from the fast passed waters into the air, trying to jump roughly 6ft distance to make it into the culvert. View on the see the glowing red that these awesome fish radiate!
Mom, Dad & SACS - two of my best friends!!!
1 of 5 of my Mom's tree frogs who lives in her Geranium's in Pine.
(Shhhhh, please don't tell too many people about my home-state...
It's too amazing to be flooded by more people, woot woot:)
