Thoughts of Cali...

So I've been home now for a full week... Home from my Cali trip that was oh so absolutely amazing. My family was there, including my two four-leggeds. The weather was beautiful and the air was clear... I finally showed my art work to the public along side a group of fellow (most talented) artists!

Today, I'm sitting in my office, in Idaho, on the first day of winter. It's freezing and we're expecting snow. My four-leggeds are right beside me and my wife is on her way home from work. I'm finishing up Christmas projects for clients as well as my own!

I couldn't be more thankful for where I am now. This is my home. But that sure doesn't mean I don't daydream about my Cali scenes I lived last week! Enjoy and Happy Holiday's!

September 2009

During a moment of procrastination today a thought flew through my head.... It's been over one year and one month, minus a day, since I graduated from RMSP. WOW! It also has been way too long since I explored the photography I have made throughout this year so why not look now?!?!?! (Heck yes, that's much better than cleaning on a beautiful Friday afternoon!) Here are a couple examples of what my eye and mind was attracted to September of 2009.

This was one of the most special moments I've been a part of in years. Music and Art are everything to me. These amazing people and many more who weren't in the studio that night sure do add an extra bonus and make this creative endeavor so worth it. Thank you all for being in my life.

Travels to McCall

On May 22nd 2010 my beautiful partner and I hit our seventh year 'partnership' anniversary! On this date we had the most awesome experience of photographing my first official wedding. Amy assisted me on the shoot and did the best job, I couldn't have done it without her. To Amy, thank you for spending our anniversary with me helping another beautiful couple enjoy their most special day!

These are photographs of the scenery and weather we dealt with on the drive up to McCall. It was a typical late spring day in Idaho... Sun, Rain, Snow, Wind, High Clouds, Beautiful Sunset! The last photograph is of the view from Shore Lodge where the wedding ceremony and reception were held. We couldn't have asked for a better day in McCall for a wedding shoot. Thank God we weren't in Boise where it was snowing like crazy! View on....
