Little Red Dress

...the way SAC sees Red...
beauty, comfort, determination, power, strength

Thank you Amy Schoenfeld for sharing your inner and outer beauty with me on our second shoot together. Wow how life has changed in eight years! I have the pleasure of saying Amy is my sister-in-law-ish and friend for life. 'Little Red Dress' is just one portion of our latest shoot, please come back for more soon.

Dear Amy,
We are two peas in a pod...
Forever babies of the family...
Finding new paths...
Blossoming into our own beings...
Embracing support from our loved ones...
Taking life to the next level...

I challenge you to follow your heart,
Open your mind and eyes to anything and everything new,
Stay positive and focussed,
Live in the now but never stop looking forward,
Take care of you and yours,
And last but not least 'Be Nice'

Garden City Findings #2

What is it about Garden City that I'm continually drawn to...?...

...River...
...Trees...
...Clouds...
...Color...

...Fences...
...Trailers...
...Contrast...
...Silhouettes...

...Rocks...
...Sand...
...Depth...
...Black...
...White...

Today the pups and I went on an off road river adventure in Garden City. Found many stumps, large rocks, cement cliffs, slow moving river water and fallen trees to ruck around in and or on!
Dazy and Daphne are my best work-mates, my only work-mates but still the best!

Friends For Life

I have been lucky to get to know hundreds of amazing people in my lifetime! Unfortunately most of those people who I've become close to live in other parts of the world. I do wish someone would invent a real 'beam me up Scotty' machine so we could be anywhere in the world in a matter of seconds but for some reason that machine has yet to exist!

Lately I've been doing a lot of soul searching. I've figured out that I need to open up, branch out and meet new people with like interests and who also live in the same town. So that is just what I have done and will continue to do! My wife Amy is in her second year of graduate school pursuing her Masters in School Counseling. She has met some of the coolest people who will be friends for life, regardless of where everyone moves after graduation. Fortunately for me, Amy has introduced me to these folks and we've all begun the friendship journey.

Some of our like interests consist of helping others, keeping a positive attitude and of course to have as much fun as possible while reaching our everyday goals!

Here is a little taste of one of the most recent evening events (Just Dance, Wii) with some of our new 'friends for life!'

COLOR • Portrait

I took a look back at a few blog posts and realized I have not been creating much of a vibrant color pallet... So I decided to get a little creative with a self-portrait I made on January 1st 2010 at 2AM! (Look in the background for my extraterrestrial buddies). Welcome friends, welcome new year. Color you will have!

First of 2010

January 1st 2010 in Boise Idaho.
Dull colors, low light, no leaves, wet roads....
Still beautiful in it own eery way!
